Did you know that there is an Evergreen committee that was formed at the last Evergreen Conference that has been working on developing a foundation (or other kind of entity) for the purposes of protecting Evergreen assets? Well, there is. It's called the Governance Committee and I'm one of the members so I wanted to make sure you knew what is happening and to give you a chance to provide feedback to the committee on what they (we) are doing.
Here are the minutes from the September 21, 2010 Evergreen Governance Committee meeting.
These minutes mention the committee's first draft of the Foundation's governance rules and our plans to distribute to the greater Evergreen community shortly for member feedback.
If you have any questions about these minutes, you can email me at terlaga{at}biblio{dot}org.
The Evergreen Foundation's Governance committee met for the first time on Friday morning, 4/23/10, at the 2010 Evergreen Conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
These are the minutes of this first meeting.
