I’ve been pondering what to write to you this past couple of weeks. I don’t want to waste your time with generalities, but at the same time, even as close as we are to going live with Evergreen, I don’t have that much that I need to specifically ask of you to do to prepare at this time—basically just this:

1. Keep going to the available training classes. I went to "Evergreen Circulation 1" Training earlier this week. The curriculum is well-done--straightforward discovery, and my personal fluency with Evergreen Circulation really jumped. My trainers, Jonna Chissus and Iwona Bernacki, were terrific--and it is confidence inspiring to see so much Evergreen expertise developing in our staff across our system.

2. Practice on Evergreen when you get the opportunity using the links and resources provided in training.

3. Report any bugs you find through the channels you are given in training.

I will attach an update here for your discretionary reading and information pleasure just to keep you abreast of what we’re all doing on the Evergreen Team to prepare for our launch a month from now. Needless to say, it is a very busy time. This update isn’t mandatory reading, but if you are interested, it will give you a better idea of what we’re all working on day-to-day in this stretch run.
