Enhancement database RFP comes up empty

The deadline has come and gone for responses to our development request for an Enhancement Database.

What is an Enhancement Database you ask?

This is a database that we want to develop on this site where libraries can work together on development specifications. Where we can co-sponsor development projects and establish specs, partners, timelines, etc. Only problem is, no vendor responded to the RFP. I'll attach a copy of the RFP here.

We're going to shift from RFP mode into pursuing quotes from developers. This situation highlights the work that we have to do on this site and in the community to build up our developer community so its not all Equinox all the time.  It feels like a great economic opportunity for emerging small development shops to build some business. At least in theory. If anyone out there has ideas about vendors or developers that might be interested in building and implementing this database for us, please drop a line. Thanks.

FYI, I replaced the .docx

FYI, I replaced the .docx version of the RFP with a PDF version.  One complaint I heard was that some potential developers couldn't open it.  Well, couldn't easily open it anyway.  At any rate, better to use a more generic file format for sure!
